I am a Civil Engineer with 2.5 years of experience (2022-2024) as a Research Assistant at University of Santa Catarina State, in Joinville, Brazil. The main theme of my research has been the investigation of rheological properties of cement-based materials, including the analysis of static/dynamic yield stress, plastic/apparent viscosity, structuration rate and thixotropy of different mix designs. Throughout my academic career, I have conducted experimental tests with rotational rheometers, sonicators (ultrasonic),calorimeters and electron microscopes. I have also participated in projects related to concrete 3D printing and nanotechnology, as a member of NIMMA - Nucleous of Inovation in Materials and Advanced Manufacturing, in Brazil (2023-2024). My main contribution in these projects was to study the relation between rheological properties and buildability of the 3D printing materials. I have obtained a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Cementitious Materials) in July 2024, with an “A” average grade and a fellowship from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). My thesis was focused on analyzing the effects of nanocellulose crystals on rheological properties and hydration of cement pastes. As a result of these activities, several reports were utilized by the Construction Materials Lab at University of Santa Catarina State, two publications were accepted into national scientific journals, and one international publication is elected to be presented at scientific events.
