I’m from a Theoretical background and now I will focus more in the computational (doing simulation) and experimental side of Soft Matter. This change make me fee enthusiastic, especially for all the new topics that I will learn.

About my PhD research
Subject: colloidal gel
Research description: For my research project I will study the effects of shear and flow history on the structure and properties of model colloidal gels.
A colloidal gel is a network of suspended micron sized particles showing arrested dynamics. Colloidal gels are used especially in industries, for the production of personal care, food products, batteries etc.
One of my future tasks will be to study a way to change these products and the way they are produced in order to become more eco-friendly, i.e. environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
