Efficient communication for prosperous research.
The quality of research depends on a researcher’s ability to scientifically address a problem… but not only! A researcher never works alone: interactions with colleagues, exchanges with peer reviewers, giving talks, and engaging in debates are all part of the process. These different situations all point to one essential element: COMMUNICATION.
Being a researcher also means developing a broad range of soft skills to navigate diverse situations—collaborating with industry, managing human interactions, delivering presentations, or giving constructive feedback.
To strengthen our Doctoral Candidates’ skills, CoCoGel is organising a Soft Skills Workshop from 8th to 10th December 2025 at UEDIN (Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom).
If you're interested in expanding your soft skills, join us either on-site or online (via Zoom, link in the programme)!
