The CoCoGel Kick-off meeting took place at the TU Delft on 25/01/24. It was organized by the Partner (TUD) in collaboration with coordinator FORTH, and held in a hybrid format (in place TU Delft and on line).
The aim of the meeting was to:
(1) provide the basic introduction of each partner’s group and expertise in the field of colloidal gel physics (experimental techniques, synthesis and simulation methods used to study them)
(2) introduce the research interest within the project, collaborations and infrastructure
(3)introduce the applications of CoCoGel industrial partners and the challenges they face in their research activities
(4) provide the info regarding the different backgrounds (chemistry, fluid dynamics, kinetics, experiments, computations) with a broad cross-disciplinary introduction to CoCoGel
(5) present the WPs and their objectives
(6) prepare the participants for the upcoming project’s activities
(7) exchange ideas regarding the project’s mobility plan and secondments.
