KU Leuven is ranked among the top 50 universities worldwide and has repeatedly been named “Europe’s most innovative university” by Reuters. The section Soft Matter, Rheology and Technology (SMaRT), within the Department of Chemical Engineering biannually shares its excellent research with academia and industryvia the Rheology Summer School. SMaRT has published >180 papers in international journal in the last 5 years, including articles by E. Koos in Science and Nature Materials.
